Long
Null Witness is a serialized cyberpunk thriller set in a 2035 Los Angeles that reads like prophecy rather than invention. After the AI bubble broke, the data of a generation was lost, the dollar fell, and the country fractured, the Pacific Compact rebuilt order on the back of total surveillance, the Glass, that most people agreed to, because they remembered what disorder cost.
Into that world comes Cade Voss: twenty-four, broke, and very good at one thing. An invite to an underground hacking contest looks like his way out, and turns out to be a door he was never meant to walk through. The hacking is real and drives the plot; the character arc and the surveillance thesis put it equally in literary-fiction territory. Free to read, new chapters weekly.
